Rehire Daeg Faerch for H2 (Halloween 2)

We, the many fans of Rob Zombie's "Halloween" remake, are shocked, saddened, and outraged at the fact that the role of Young Michael Myers, played by Daeg Faerch in the 2007 film, will be recast in the sequel "H2" due to Daeg's "increased height." This is a complete and total outrage!

Daeg Faerch IS young Michael Myers. He is the heart and soul of the movie (which is saying a lot because every scene was flawless), and H2 would not be the same with another actor in the role. Thanks to Daeg, Young Myers is no longer a minor, dime-a-dozen role; he is a young child with a beast slowly growing inside of him, so to speak. This is like recasting Batman, Spider-Man, or Iron Man in the middle of a series; it just wouldn't work.

Daeg Faerch IS Young Michael. Please, Rob, Weinsteins, Malek Akkad & Trancas, etc., please reconsider Daeg. Please.

    • It looks like Rob might finally be listening to us! Daeg is seen in the H2 trailer, superimposed over "replacement" Chase Wright Vanek. Let's hope Daeg can be used in some way for the actual movie, better yet bring Daeg back for reshoots and give him a good paycheck for all the trouble you went through to please us tough-as-nails fans.
