To the management and staff of DIGG.COM,
We the undersigned respectfully request to have the ability to filter stories based on URL.
For example, if a Digg user did not want to see a story submitted from the domain xyz.com, they should be able to have the ability to add a filter in their preferences that would prevent such stories from appearing.
We strongly feel that such a change would greatly benefit the Digg community, and is in keeping with past improvements made to the site.

- huffpo must be bankrolling digg. gawker media (consumerist, lifehacker, etc) needs a block as well.

- This new system should ban propaganda machines like the Huffington Joke and thinkprogress and dailykos.com by default.

- Digg currently offers "all or nothing" filtering by allowing us to choose to view or hide certain topics. While that's better than nothing, it's really not an option for those of us who would like to read certain topics, but are sick and tired of seeing 25 submissions a day from certain web sites in those topics. Politics is currently the best example, but the problem exists in most areas of Digg. A URL filter would allow the users to have more control over their Digg experience.

- The topic filters just don't offer enough customization. That and if I want to read The Onion, I will go to TheOnion.com... 'nuff said.
