We the undersigned, insist that the BBC reinstate John Sargeant on Strictly Come Dancing, that the judges apologise on television for their unprofessional criticism of him, and that the judges undertake to make only constructive criticism of him and any other competitor for the rest of the competition.

    • It is an entertainment show, which is why the BBC cynically invites older, overweight celebrities who are less likely to do well; if it were a serious dancing competetion then the judges would have total voting control. They don't.
