- journalism at it's absolute worst. Any idiot can write rubbish. I had expected better from the mail. Without an apology the credibility of this so called journalist and the daily mail cannot be taken seriously on any subject she or they report on.

- Ms Philips clearly has a fictional idea of what earth-centred, and other non-Christian, religions are about. She also seems to view 'equality' as a dirty word. If this is representative of Daily Mail content, it should be removed from print.

- I'm utterly disgusted by this article, it just goes to show the Daily Mail will print 'anything' just to get read! If Melanie Philips dared to slander any other religion / spiritual belief, she'd be hunted out like the 'Cat-Bin' woman, or worse! Lucky for her Pagans and Druids are more understanding!

- It saddens me that people of your generation have such a mindset, is what is polluting my generations future way of thinking. No wonder there is such hate in the world when people are allowed to print this poison. I'm studying history at school and of all the peoples I thought that would be racially tolerant would be a Jewish woman! Maybe the wrongs done on your people has twisted your perceptions and driven love for the human RACE from your heart? I don't hate you but I do feel sorry for you. Someone with such hate in their heart must be very lonely. May you be forgiven for your trespasses and find love in your heart again.

- Philips' writing and research is bias. She clearly wrote with little understanding of the subject matter, surely a mistake if trying to be a journalist? I've never known such intolerance, even from the Daily Mail
