- As a follower of the pagan ways, this article was the rantings of an ill informed, ignorant woman and offended me to the core.

- I am tired of the media using my religion in an attept to sell papers through bigoted poorly or unresearched articles. Articles like this are at the core of much of the conflict in the world today. We cause no harm to others so why are we percieved as a threat to people like the author? We are not trying to force our views on her and those like her but she is attempting to force her views on us! Why?

- If we end up in another dark age, an era of intolerance with twisted ideologies, 'journalists' like Melanie Philips will be a contributory factor.

- We need to move beyond religious prejudice - or there will only be more wars and bloodshed to contend with in the future. Promoting it is disgusting and should be a criminal offence.

- Should a person be spiteful enough, it would be very easy to make a mockery of the practices of Christianity (or any religion) in the same way as this article attacks people with 'alternative' beliefs. Would that be allowed ? I doubt it.
