This petition is to the ICO and other organisations in the UK that may be considering that Google Street view should be stopped or suspended. Google Street View, in our opinion, is NOT an invasion of privacy, but is in fact of great benefit to the population of the UK.

We strongly believe that Google are taking a very responsible attitude to privacy concerns in the way that they are dealing with a very small minority of complaints, which don't, in any way, reflect the enjoyment and usefulness that the program provides to many thousands of happy and satisfied users. Don't give the scaremongers their way !

- What's the point in trying to hide that which we all could see with our own eyes if we so desired? All objections can be answered, e.g. would be criminals wanting to burgle an area would do better driving by themselves equipped with zoom lenses to see exactly what locks are fitted
