The following disagree with the new Durham Region Transit schedule which becomes effective March 3st, due to limited nighttime service . We ask that Durham Region Transit continue with the current schedule or find a way to keep at least limited bus service in these areas.

- I, along with hundreds of people everyday, take the bus. Who are these councilors to dictate whats best for us, while they sit behind a desk?

- This is absoloutly insane with the government giving transit more money to inhance service and all we get is this ... just look at what toronto is getting and we (DRT) get this... DRT c overs a quite significant area as does TTC so why are we not allowed the same quality and quantity of service?

- The bus services and bus driver attitudes are already driving people away from public transit. Taking more away from people that pay a lot of money for these services isn't fair and it is going to cause even less people to use public transit.

- im currently living in Ottawa and transit passes are cheaper here than back home! bus routes in ottawa are a lot longer and get you all over the city DRT needs to lengthen their running schedule if they're trying to build Oshawa up to be the next big city! LIKE CUMMON gimme a freakin break!

- Durham needs buses more then anything. If you cut them back there will be a lot of problems. Do the right thing guys!

- i thought this new durham transit was supposed to make things more convenient, instead with these route cuts it has made it more of a hassle for students to get around.

- With the current level of service you can't even take the bus home from a Generals game on a Sunday evening. Now we're going to make it harder for people to get around?

- I've travelled to many different cities in Canada and even overseas. I have never used a transit service as underfunded and as dismal as DRT. I recently moved to the Durham Region and it's a great place, but everyone should be ashamed of DRT. The service is so bad, I went out and bought an electric bicycle. That way, I only have to put up with DRT in the winter months.

- durham regional transit is a necessity to many people. if you cut services. the durham region unemployment rate will sky rocket due to people losing their jobs and other reason. so please think this through a little more thoroughly before you do any more cutting of routes or whatever. the 5 central park has already had routes cut and pretty much diminished. that was a main mode of transport for many people in north oshawa to get to the go station for work. so do some serious soul searching and be a little bit more careful in your planning and think of the lives of others.

- everyone needs the late night services, are you crazy for doing this. It's going to piss off alot of people, and don't forget the transit will receive less cost, they lose millions, how cant u see that.

- The loss of the Central Park during non-rush hours, means I have no way to bring my daughter to school if she misses her bus. Thanks a lot DRT!

- Before the transit services amalgamated only a few short years ago Oshawa had one of the best bus services for a city its size, and they were constantly improving it, adding new routes and longer hours. Now that the service covers all of Durham Region and serves many more people they raise our fares and are constantly decreasing service. How does this make any sense? Not only that but the service is never on time and the drivers are often rude and unknowledgable about the service, (of course there are a few exceptions). My girlfriend and myself are tired of the way DRT is treating its "Valued" customers and will be buying a car to get us to and from work before the end of the year.
