We, the undersigned, respectfully request that BMW of North America review and recall the lineup of all radiators in all 1995-2001 (E38) 740I and 740IL made available to all buyers in the United States and Canada, and realize that all potential 740I and 740IL have a major manufacturer defect in this radiator.
Currently BMW of North America does not offer anything in regards to this radiator. We consider this to be a safety hazard for both 740I and 740IL from 1995-2001 drivers and other people on the road.
We understand that this problem occurs in other BMW models as well. BMW of North America as you all know refuses to take responsibility for their major manufacturer defect.
Demands:
- BMW of North America must immediately acknowledge that it is aware of this manufacturing defect.
- All BMW 740I and 740IL (E38) owners that already fixed their radiators with out of pocket expense should be given a full refund immediately.
Sign this petition if you are a present or past BMW (E38) 740I or 740IL from 1995-2001 owner or others models that are affected. This is our voice - our vote. Your opinions matter.

- I'm thrilled with my '98 750iL, but I am very concerned about the radiator. I have gone to the trouble and expense of purchasing a spare radiator for when mine eventually fails. Due to my lack of faith in the BMW radiators, I will likely swap it out as preventative maintenance.

- Get Behr to fix the neck moulding problem with correct sized filets or get a new vendor, is that too much to ask.
