Is anyone else annoyed at trying to buy ticekts for a concert, or any event, only to find out its sold out. Not only is it sold out but there's hundreds of tickets being sold on ebay for quadruple the face value. Take AC/DC's uk tour for example. All dates sold out in a matter of minutes, 40 a ticket (45 in London). Half an hour later tickets started appearing on ebay for 200. 24 hours later 355 auctions for the London gig alone!!! (excluding auctions that had already finished) All single tickets were being sold around the 200 plus mark. I'm a genuine music fan, and like many other music fans, love going to live gigs. Unfotunately, its a sad world where touts are willing to exploit genuine fans. Who knows where the touts got their money to buy the tickets from and where the money will end up (drugs, trafficing). All I ask is for people to sign this petition so ebay will take note that genuine music fans are getting ripped off. I propose that ebay should stop the sale of concert tickets.

    • Whilst no one is "forced" to pay over the odds for the tickets it's sad to see that a good portion have been snapped up by greedy wankers to leach off of real fans for the sake of it. Get a backbone and a real job.

    • I have missed several gigs now due to tout scum, and eventhough their income will be impared it's about time ebay took some action or should be forced somehow to do the right thing.

    • i agree, recent experience was that muse tickets didnt even show up for sale on line with ticketmaster?? just dont know whats going on, and i refuse to pay silly prices as money does not go to band, it should always be about the music not about the profits, good luck.
