As devoted home entertainment consumers and enthusiasts, we no longer wish that DVD and Blu ray discs be distributed utilizing the eco-friendly "Eco Box" case.
The stability of the Eco Box system is not suitable for a well kept collection. Such a case ensures an added expense to collectors who feel the need to purchase replacement cases to properly protect their discs.
The irony of the Eco Box is that it's usage of less plastic will serve well in the long run, as many collectors are certain to discard them. The true "green option" here should be to avoid the possibility of such useless polution.
Please revisit the standard cases, used in the past, in regards to the item's quality, collectibility and an overall happy clientel.

- It's just ridiculous how many more dents in cases I've noticed as a result of Eco-boxes.

- The design of these boxes are idiotic .... if you're gonna make holes in the box to save plastic , make it on areas of the box that don't leave the disc more vunerable to damage ... I hope these boxes don't become industry standard .... make a better design please ....

- These eco cases are dreadful! The sleeves/artwork are VERY vunerable to damage in these cases and are thus not 'collector friendly'. Please make these go away at once.

- I have replaced everyone of these cases. They are garbage and have damaged discs that I have bought. The best way to be environmental about dvd cases is to not throw them away,

- I have donated 9 of these pieces of plastic crap to my local landfill, I hope they remain there for a very long time, I have also passed on purchasing DVDs packaged this way; mostly Lionsgate and Sony products.

- Eco-boxes are the WORST packaging ever for entertainment products. And since so many people will now have to replace these crappy boxes with good ones, this means MORE plastic being used, not less!

- I couldn't agree more - I haven't purchased one DVD in one of these cases that hasn't been partially damaged before I've even unwrapped the package.

- How many people throw away DVDs? Are cases overflowing our landfills? This "eco" design is just a way to cheat us on quality - and get away with it.

- There is nothing "earth friendly" about these boxes! They are flimsy and do not protect the DVD. Bring back the standard cases!

- I am FOR eco responsibility. Please do not skimp on packaging for consumers. Instead, please publicize that when DVD boxes are worn out, they can indeed be put in the plastics recycling and/or come up with a more eco-friendly solution that also WORKS.

- I can't stand getting these anymore. I'm paying the same price but getting a case which is half-caved in and damages the cover art. I shouldn't have to spend my own money to get a new case. This is wasting more plastic than it's saving if so many people are chucking them in favor of regular cases

- As an environmentalist, I urge any companies using Eco-Boxes to seek out other means of curtailing environmental devastation and discontinue using the counterproductive Eco-Boxes.

- a case that's 20\% less plastic, and makes me buy another case to do its job, is \%80 more wasted plastic

- I'm all up for being sustainable, but not when it is used to skimp on something that shouldn't be cheapened! If they are going to be sustainable, skimp on things that will be thrown away anyhow, such as the plastic wrap surrounding the final product. It's bad enough we no longer get chapter booklet inserts.

- Not only do I have to spend more money buying a proper case to replace the bad one, but it does more harm to the earth since more plastic was produced.

- The missing plastic only makes for a flimsy case. I'd much rather you save plastic some other way than to take a small portion from the box.

- These Eco-Boxes were made to help reduce the plastic that is in production but will only insure the waste once a consumer throws the whole Eco-Box away to replace it with a sturdier replacement. So, the irony is that something that was supposed to help is only going to hinder.

- ecobox has completely ruined some of my games, there are more efficient ways to produce a case that not only uses less plastic but also is high quality. cases are meant to protect your discs, not destroy them.

- I buy regular cases to replace these substandard eco-boxes and I throw the eco-boxes in the bin.
