  • My angst is not due to Sonia Gandhi being a non-indian, but due to the fact that she's not a politician, or even a social worker, or anything else that might capacitate her to lead India. She's not trained to be a politician, and probably doesn't have the capacity to deal with Indian politics - technically or psychologically. What does she know of Indian people - their concerns, their needs - to be able to lead them, be responsible for them? What has she done so far - in any capacity - to help India in anyway? What qualifies her to be the PM? Aren't there others who are better equipped to take lead of India? What does she know of economies, and setting directions for India in today's converging world? Electing her purely on emotions, and putting her in position by the party purely to get more votes is blind, and sad.
