To whom it may concern at Empire Carpets:

We are tired of your poorly devised advertising schtick. While we understand your desire to secure name recognition, over forty years and literally hundreds of commercials featuring the empire carpets jingle have worn out the novelty you so desperately sought after. Sadly, commercials are a way of life, however; the American people deserve advertisements that promote a product or peak consumer curiosity. We are tired of repetitive, obnoxious and mind numbing ad campaigns. We simply ask that you remove the jingle from the airwaves thus making television and radio enjoyable again. It also would not hurt to remove your spokesman but we understand that may be asking for too much.

The Undersigned agree with my assessment of your organization and will not purchase any of your products or recommend your company until you alter the way you promote your company.

- Something has to be done about the spokesman. Can't they acquire another spokesperson? The old man really believes he has a professional quality inflection as he recites his dialog. And that raspy nasal drone in his voice. Doesn't he realize he's driving people crazy? I have nothing against him. It's his voice that I cannot tolerate. Please Mr. Empire Carpetman!
