Get Legard off the BBC F1 commentary team

I am starting this petition for the BBC to take note on the fact their current commentator for the Formula 1 campaign isn't good enough. After reading several complaints on forums online, I have come to the decision the BBC needs to replace Jonathan Legard with former ITV commentator James Allen, or someone from his ilk.

Legard's style just doesn't fit in with the modern F1 racing, he sounds like a dated 60's commentator. He is constantly making mistakes, has no idea what's going on on the track. Take for instance Fernando Alonso pitting under the safety car in China. Was that an exciting moment? No. Did Legard treat it like Alonso was fighting for the lead of the race? Yes. He has no chemistry whatsoever with Martin Brundle, who constantly carries him throughout the race.

Please BBC, review the situation and replace Mr Legard with a commentator worthy of this exciting new season.

    • I watch the feed from BBc on TSN in Canada. I miss James Allen on the broadcast. He and Martin are a wonderful Team. They made it like I could close my eyes and see the race in my minds eye.
