Fast Lane tea, one of finest caffeinated beverages available on the planet Earth, was recently discontinued by Celestial Seasonings. Over the life of its existence, this tea, discovered by many to be a superior alternative to coffee, became the "rejuvenator of choice" to untold numbers of bleary-eyes students, tired working people, sleep-deprived parents, coffee-converts, and pretty much anyone who had things to do but needed a little jump-start to get their wheels turning.
With the disappearance of Fast Lane, many fans of the energizing tea have found themselves facing an abysmal dilemma. What can possibly even come close to replacing a tea that not only tastes so fantastic, but is such a useful and integral part of life? I, for one, am at a loss to replace it. I can only do the Desperate Consumer's Discontinued Product Dance, and (much to the chagrin of anyone happening to read it) I can write very bad Seuss-style poetry like this:
A "Siegel" Serenade (Mo Siegal, Founder and Chairman, Celestial Seasonings)
In all my life I've yet to see
A drink as good as Fast Lane tea.
It lifts me up when I am down
And simply helps me get around.
I'm not alone in my dismay
That it cannot be found today.
To say we're lost and feeling low
Would understate our plight, and so...
I beg you from my saddened heart,
Please do not make us be apart
From tea that really makes our day...
Please, bring it back! Please! Right away!
In my idealistic opinion, one person *can* make a difference, and there *is* strength in numbers. With that rosy pipe-dream tucked firmly and defiantly under my arm, I ask you, tea-drinker or not, to lend your support to this worthy cause. Please help me in my endeavor to convince Mo Siegal and Celestial Seasonings' Marketing Department to BRING BACK FAST LANE TEA by signing this easy online petition.
My deep thanks and genuine appreciation go out to every signer.

- Coffee kills my stomach & this tea does not. How am I supposed to survive the last year and a half of medical school, working 24 hrs straight when on-call, or studying when I get home after being at the hospital for 12 or 14 hours? Customer service with celestial seasonings has been horrible, as well.

- I really enjoyed this tea, the only reason I stopped drinking it was because I became pregnant. I went to go get some recently had found out that stores no longer carried it. Bring It Back!

- love the tea I had stocked up on it a long time ago and have been unable to find it. Out of desperation with supply running low, I looked on line to find some and found that it is discontinued. I am very disappointed. I haven't been able to find a replacement and not for lack of trying. If my request is of any significance, here it is.....Please O please O please bring back fast lane tea!

- This is the second time CS has discontinued Fast Lane. This was one of their premium products, which also appealed to coffee drinkers. As such it is in their own interest to market this ideal "crossover" product. Morning Thunder is NOT a substitute. CS's marketing folks should listen to their clientele. Regards // CJE
