    • I do not object to the hospice as such. I do object to building on a green space.

    • Reclaimed land should be used not a nature area, how about the Hopkinsons site Birkby? Visitors and staff will have to park in our streets & Bradford Road due to the lack of parking available. Extra noise and disruption with building and on going noise & traffic .

    • I'm sure a better site can be found without taking away an un touched open area such as this.

    • The area just doesn't need anymore traffic, there's plenty more to come with new houses being built, enough is enough..

    • Enough greenland is disappearing as it is, I'm sure there are more suitable places to build the hospice which would not cause so much inconvience.

    • Urban green space is important and the hospice does not meet the requirements of community or exceptional use.

    • There are so many brownfield sites in Kirklees which should be considered first. If permission is granted for this development it will set a precedent which will enable residential develoments, hostels etc to be built in green belt. There are so many better sites!

    • A hospice is a very positive development. However as there are so many brownfield sites in Huddersfield these should be utilised. Kirklees should be encouraging sustainability & re-use of sites and not destroying greenfield sites and negatively affecting wildlife and local residents.
