CALL FOR BROMLEY COUNCIL TO MAKE ALL CPZ SCHEMES FREE FOR RESIDENTS IT AFFECTS

There are a number of Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) scheme proposals coming to light within the Bromley Council area this year, especially in the Beckenham and Penge areas.

The council believes these will help parking for residents and that you the resident should pay to park within your own road. Whether the CPZs are worthwhile or not and neighbours are divided by the issue, the schemes if voted for should be FREE for all residents it affects.

Once started these schemes will not be repealed and the yearly costs can increase at the pleasure of the council by any amount.

Whether you are for or against a CPZ in your area this petition has been set up to call on the council to make the CPZ fees FREE for the residents it affects. Please sign the petition and pass it on to your neighbours.

    • It should certainly be free for residents in roads not so close to the roads immediately adjacent to Clock House station. We don't have much of a parking problem is Blandford Road, so are only getting the CPZ to prevent an issue developing from displaced commuter cars (i.e. somebody else's problem).
