This petition is for the free use of gym equiptment at government/council(non private) run gyms. It is my belief that if gym memberships were free, then many more people ould be motivated to get down to the gym and loose some weight, I know I would. This is my opinion because i think that it would cost less for the government to pay for gym membership that it would for the NHS bill for overweight people. Please sign for FREE GYM USEAGE.

- I myself believe that the best way to combat obesity is to make working out easily accessible.

- I have been wanting to go to the gym, can't afford it. The government is spending more on my ant-depressants than they would to cover a gym membership.

- Inmates get free gym use.. NHS spend too much on obesity and related problems, but everyone else has to pay to stay fit..??? Prevention IS BETTER than cure...!!

- our base gym is free, what sucks is child care only 3 days a week for 2 hours a day, during the afternoon which is nap time for most kids.

- This is my reason for not going to a Gym. I know Gym memberships are not terribly expensive but for a 16 year old coming from a poor family it is quite hard to come up with. Anyways great idea I fully support!
