Sustainable Brant request to the Greenbelt Council that the Greater Golden Horseshoe Greenbelt be extended to include Brant County to protect our way of life, our farmland and our water resources.

    • rampant unchecked development is taking over our best farmland all across Southern Ontario. We need to preserve what is left now, as predictions of food shortages are in the forefront of the news. Canada needs to produce its own food, not import from China, Brazil, Chile, Mexico and distant countries with unregulated use of pesticides. Our city centres are empty and this is where development should be taking place. Please take action now to expand the Green Belt
