I request that you and members of Parliament along with the relevant government agencies assist in the creation of a new center of Jewish culture in Lithuania. To this end, I ask that Wyman Brent be allowed to make use of the premises at Gedimino 64. The space provided will be transformed into the Vilnius Jewish Library. It will be a place in which all will be welcome regardless of race, religion, or nationality.

    • I would like to support the project of Jewish Library in Vilnius run by Mr Wymanas Brentas. I would be honored and priviledged to see the Jewish Library in Vilnius open as soon as it's possible.

    • My parents were from Oshmiana. Left in 1908 and 1917. My wife and i visited Vilnius and Oshmiana in2001 1 believe a Jewish interest library in the "Jerusalem of Eastern Europe" will draw many similar visitors and encourage you to approve the project.

    • This is important and must be done. We have to remember the innocent that passed before us. We have to tell all of the hands of evil.
