- Well done Gerald for displaying such integrity in what must be difficult times for you. Under no circumstances can Cork GAA fall to the GPA brigade! Keep up the good work & keep the pride in Cork hurling.

- Ger, you are dead right. The jersey is everything and the 08 panel have disrespected it more than once. As Ben says, he's not interested in playing for Cork, only winning.

- Well done Gerald for sticking to your values. This team would only be happy with D O grady and ould have wanted a veto on any manager appointed.

- Ger, You have the support of real GAA people across the country. Don't let the "pub" supporters drag you down.

- Ger, I walked past the protest last week while in town and spotted a half dozen lads in Cork jerseys from my area. NONE of them have any involvement in our club. Barstool supporters would be a kind description......If the feeling at our metings is anything to go by, the vast majority of genuine GAA people in Cork are behind you.

- Those refusing to wear the jersey did not invent Cork Hurling. If Gerald was not appointed would we still have a strike cause of the lack of development squads and cause there is a "sickness" at county board level??
