Dear Tokio Hotel and Tokio Hotel management,
I, a loyal fan of Tokio Hotel, would like to express my concerns. I'm a U.S. fan, and I've faithfully kept to the Tokio way longer than I can remember, well over a year. I love the guys and the music of course. And as a loyal and veteran fan, the music I heard and fell in love with first was the German music. When I became a fan, there wasn't even the rumor of English music being released, and every interviewer who tried to bring it up, was shot down. So of course, I started out with only the German music, and I will never stray away from it. But I am a TH fan through and through, and I love the English music as much as the next fan, but it will never be able to beat the German music in my heart.
I know many fans, American fans, who agree with me. Whether they've been a fan for months or days, I haven't met any fan who doesn't love the German music. What I am asking of you, Tokio Hotel, is to please give the German music more attention when it comes to the American fans. Especially with a full American tour, the Parc des Princes live DVD, and an album release coming up. So many fans would be ecstatic to hear more German songs during concerts, instead of only two.
I'm also concerned that the PDP live DVD and third German album won't get released here, so I'm begging you, Tokio Hotel: please don't treat your American fans differently than the European fans. Please don't think that if it's in German, that we'll like it any less. You guys always say how the fans will take German in school to better understand you, and the Americans are no different. Give us a chance to show this off, will you? In the last year, interest in German at my school has tripled, and I'm sure it's Tokio Hotel's doing. I know, because me and my friends are part of that new interest in German. In just a year, I've become practically fluent, thanks to Tokio Hotel.
I am making this petition to let Tokio Hotel know, that we, the American fans, want to be able to have the German music, too.
Thank you.

- No one likes German less, because it's who you are. You'll only get close to your American fans as well as European, if you share who you really are. =)

- I think it would be awesome to be able to hear more German songs at the concert, and I think I'll cry if I have no other choice but to buy all their albums off ebay. Bring it to the US!

- I already am pretty fluent in German since I grew up there, lol. But now that I'm in America it would be nice to be able to hear them sing in German too.

- It'd be great to hear more of your music in its native language. It makes it more authentic.

- Agreed. American fans knew and sang all the German songs before anything English was released, and you know you love it when people in other countries sing your poper lyrics. More German lyrics, bitte!!

- Yes! the german songs are the ones we fell in love with. Please sing more of the german songs! And it can cost a fortune to have the CDs and DVDs imported, so it would be awesome to be able to get all future releases here in the US!

- I fell in love with the German and English songs at the same time, and would love it if not only were more German songs sung at American concerts, but the German CD's were released here too!

- I heard the music in german MONTHS before i even knew they had songs in english, and I'd like to hear them play the songs that first got me into them. Just cause you're touring in america, you don't have to play ALL your songs in english. let's hear some native tongue boys..

- I completely agree with this petition. I adore the German version of every song. In fact, I like a lot of the German versions better than the English and I live in the US.

- I may not have come in on the German songs, but we certainly deserve a setlist longer than 45 minutes or whatever that includes several German songs. If only to listen. Silently. As some of us don't speak German. XD
