The split of GRINDHOUSE

I have created this because I feel so strongly about what is rumoured to be happening to the upcoming GRINDHOUSE film. That it will be split into two seperate movies, for audiences outside of North America. There are several reasons I can think of why this shouldn't happen, but here is my top two:

1. It defeats the whole purpose of the GRINDHOUSE tradition. I live in the UK, but we still had Grindhouses!! Why would I want to watch two seperate films, when the whole experience is about paying for one ticket and sitting in the theatre watching two movies back to back???
2. The faux trailers. What will happen to them?? Presumably they will left on the cutting floor, or should i say...the distributors floor. This is one of the apects I'm looking most forward too.

So please, DO NOT CUT THIS MOVIE INTO TWO SEPERATE FILMS FOR ANY COUNTRY WORLDWIDE!!

    • I want my damn movies together WITH the trailers. Thats what Grindhouse is all about. Until you do so the DVD sales will be low because the fans dont want them. Get your act togehter.

    • Once again another slap in the face for the loyal European cinema goers. America seems to not give a rats ass about anything outside of America. Is it our fault if your original audience didn't get it? Why should we suffer then?

    • Splitting this piece of art is treating it just as a marchandise. GRINDHOUSE is a ONE piece movie and its brilliant in this way. Splitting this movie would be like cuting in 2 pieces the "Guernica" painting.

    • I live in Mexico, and I'm currently waiting for this movie to come to theaters, I've been eagerly waiting since they announced it. But if the film gets split in halfs, I would rather not watch it on theaters. Besides, one of the reasons this movie was goint to be split was because some countries didn't get the grindhouse tradition, but here in Mexico we had something pretty similar so it would bring back great memories if the film was released as a whole.
