Belgian Grand Prix - Confirm result of race after Hamilton's penalty

We the undersigned insist that the FIA (Fйdйration Internationale de l'Automobile) confirm the decision made to add 25 seconds to the finishing time of Lewis Hamilton (McLaren-Mercedes) in the Formula 1 Belgian Grand-Prix (07/September/2008).
We believe the decision that has been made to be right because the rules must be respected, Hamilton has take an advantage from his cutting chicane, this advantage are identifiable in the line of his race and his speed in the following straight. Speed which allowed easy overtaking at the "Source".

    • Message for Farhad - totally agree with you, as Hamilton DID abide by the rules then his win should be re-instated! Why is it Farhad that ALL the drivers have now asked the FIA for clarification on this rule if the rule was clear & difinitive in the first place?! Message for Djalma - firstly, what rule was bypassed (let's stick to the facts rather than emotive political comments)? Secondly, so you think the stewards give consistent honest rulings? - really? If you are a true spectator & follwoer of the sport then it's plainly obvious that rule consistency sadly doesn't exist in Formula 1. I think 60,000 signitures Vs 21 (3 of which are for Hamilton's re-instatment is a clear result , don't you?! :)

The FIA, in its submission of 19 September 2008, claims that the Court should: - declare the appeal inadmissible pursuant to Article 52 of the International Sporting Code; - if the appeal is admissible, dismiss the appeal as unfounded and confirm contested decision in its entirety." WHY? FIA SHOUD BE NEUTRAL!!!
