This Petition calls for the New York Jets of the National Football league to fire offensive coordinator Paul Hackett during or at the end of the 2004-2005 football season. We believe his actions are harmful to the New York Jets franchise.

    • We will NEVER win a Super Bowl as long as Paul Hackett is our offensive coordinator. Although Chad Pennington himself supports Hackett, the fact is that he has only played under ONE NFL offensive coodinator in his career, and hasn't played a full season at that. Therefore, how could he possibly know exactly what is the makeup of a good offensive coordinator? The 3rd + 5 draw play today against the Patriots may not have been Hackett's fault, but it shows just what the mindset of this entire offense is while he has been here: play not to lose. Hackett clearly does NOT trust Chad Pennington to win games for this team, and it has shown in his years of inept play-calling that have been a severe detriment to our team's success. If you want to make one change to this franchise that the greater good overwhelmingly will support and appreciate, this is it. We will all be forever grateful, and the Jets will be changed for the better, regardless of our replacement at the position. FIRE HACKETT PLEASE!!!!
