True Hate Crimes Awareness Act
Hate Victim Impact Panel

This petition calls to a Hate Crimes Awareness program to be implemented within the
state of Florida. We the people feel that it is time,to stop discrimination against one
another based on color, gender, race, religion or sexual orientation.

This petition asks of the following to be implemented:

1. Public School's Require a GLBT awareness & acceptance program
2. All Educators, Counselors, or Government Employees require to attend awareness classes.
3.Law Enforcement Officers would be required to attend classes for awareness.

If we are currently at a time where we can't recognize a hate crime for ones sexual
orientation, then we must create awareness by education.

Similar programs are already in place, such as the D.U.I пїVictim's Impact Panelпї


We the undersigned ask the State of Florida, Gov. Charlie Christ to implement such immediately.
