We, the public and who ever signs this petition would like to express our disappointment on hearing the news that you and your co-producers have written out the popular character Danielle Jones (played by Lauren Crace) from long-running BBC soap, Eastenders.

If this is not the case then this petition and its signatories are to diederick santers cruel, harsh way of ending the storyline whilst fans were awaiting an extrememly good happy ending at the end. so now because he most probably wont change the storyline, by bringing danielle back from the dead, by e.g. wakes up from a coma at her funeral. WE WANT HIM NOW SACKED!
p.s. you have atlease 53,000 fans are unhappy on facebook, stop paying newspapers off to not publish them.

- After watching the episode, it has really affected me. I cried so much and for three days straight because if it. Whenever I think about it, I just start crying. I think that Danielle telling Ronnie after so long and then deciding to kill her off was just a waste of time. Danielle and Ronnie could have been reunited and go to Ibiza together to start a new life. This could have left a door open for her return. As for Diederick saying that Ronnie and Danielle together would have been boring, well maybe that's what us viewers wanted! I was very disappointed with the ending and I don't think she should have been killed off! Can't we have a happy ending for once?!

- I dont think he should be sacked, i just think that he needs to see what he has done to all the eastenders veiwers through thisdepressing episode. I think he should come up with a very big storyline like danielle and ronnie one but give it a very happy ending. I feel he could have let ronnie and danielle be together and buut have danielle find out she had cancer or a illness she was going to die from. Tht would have been even more interseting and better than dani dying !! Serously im finding eastenders really boring atm.. dont think they will soap of the year award!
