    • As a beach lifeguard at Porthtowan, Cornwall I see these hoodies on a daily basis and i have also seen members of public approach someone in a fake top by mistake, I have also been ignored by someone claiming that i was wearing a fake hoody... cheek! get them banned before someone gets hurt.

    • It's like wearing a top saying "POLICEMAN" or "FIREMAN" or maybe even "STREET CLEANER"! You just don't do it. So why wear a top with another occupation on, and potentially cause a death?!

    • I am a Paramedic, and oneday somebody is going to die because a member of the public runs to the wrong person on the beach wearing a 'LifeGuard' top. BAN THEM NOW. The sellers are irresponsible.

    • The titles of POLICE, PARAMEDIC etc are legally protected LIFEGUARD should be too. We could all state we have a Degree in Physics....but that would be a lie. Lifeguards work hard to gain thier qualifications and skills, therefore it is an insult to them to pretend you are trained and skilled to that level. BAN THEM! THE TRADERS ARE IRRESPONSIBLE! We should all take the mick out of people we see wearing them in the street.

    • Well to be honest I think it's rather pathetic all these lifeguard hoodies. It's only lifeguards from Cornwall that should wear them not tourists! People could get in to trouble or hurt themselves and find that they have about 6 different people wearing lifeguard hoodies but only one of them is actually a lifeguard! And by the time they actually find the real lifeguard it could be to late! So basically, I think they should be banned from everyone apart from the lifeguards themselves.
