We are in support of the proposed River Street Residences Housing First Project in Chinatown.Experience has shown that this type of project actually reduces homelessness and improves the quality of life for all in the community. We understand the concern of some in the community, but want to make clear that there are many others who see the benefit of this project and its proposed location in Chinatown.

    • From working in the human services field for the past 5 years, I know that affordable/transitional housing is hard to come by especially for singles. Affordable/transitional housing opportunities are much needed to give a "hand up' to those that are making an effort to be productive in our community.
