The Harry Potter franchise is one of the biggest in the world. Fans from across the globe eagerly await the release of each film with so much anticipation.

It was such a delight when fans outside of America discovered that Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix would be released worldwide on the same day. Not only was it a great thing for audiences all over the world but Warner Bros. managed to make the most money from a Harry Potter film since the first film was released.

Therefore, we think that it would be wonderful if you were to give Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince a worldwide release date on 21 November, 2008. Not only would it benefit us, the audience, but it will be of great benefit to Warner Bros. and Heydey Films.

    • Every country should get to see it at the same time (figuratively speaking, since time zones exist).

    • This movie is big enough to warrant a world wide release. Plus, it's not like films come over on the steam boats anymore. Release it at the same time!

    • Once again, WB has delayed the Australian release by 20 days. This is unfair as we are just as devoted fans and would love to see a worldwide release date, we were thrilled when we discovered Order of the Pheonix was going to be an worldwide release and only hope you can do the same for Half Blood Prince

    • My kids & I have been counting the days for the November release. How am I suppose to explain that they have to wait almost another whole year? It makes me want to forget the movie all together. The books will just have to do for my family. I am disappointed inthe extreme. We have been promised the movie for November! This is going to be a HUGE mistake, it is going to upset HP fans all over. I can't believe it. I honestly can't believe it. Shame on you Warner Bros.

    • This decision was not made with the fans best at heart, but the thought of money, money and more money. What's the point of making all that money, when you disappoint a lot more fans? For its the fans that matter, or at least I thought?

    • If the film is delayed, people WILL boycott it. A Harry Potter film willmake money WHENEVER it is released! Why upset fans by delaying it?
