SUBJECT: Iraqi Refugees Need Urgent Humanitarian Assistance

Dear Honorable UN Secretary General

We are urging to the UN and the governments to actively provide more assistance to these vulnerable Iraqi young girls so that they do not need to turn to prostitution. They need money to feed their families since refuges cant have the legal job in Syria. Beside financial hardship, much of the suffering the Iraqis face in Syria is due to lack of adequate medical help.

A little girl with bloated and deformed stomach, because her mother's exposure to depleted uranium prior to giving birth; she gets no financial help from the Iraqi government or the US; Syria would pay only for limited medical costs. There are not enough medical resources for any remedy for her. Others described their sufferings as their faces resonated with sorrow.

The BBC and other media have reported that Iraqi refugees are suffering greatly in Syria after fleeing from Iraq. It is reported that girls are being exploited into prostitution in order to survive.

We respectfully request that you urgently intervene by urging the UN Refugee Council to immediately offer these refugees more long term humanitarian assistance, so that victims do not resort to desperate measures. These refugees are in dire need of food, shelter, medicine and security.

Please do your utmost to help them. Thank you.

Sincerely,

    • Bush, Cheney, Rice and all the top executives are complicit in this. They are smug in their self righteousness and even go to church and pray. They no longer have a conscience. Let us all remind them, for that shall be one more piece of evidence that will increase their agony in Hell.
