On April 9, 2004 a group of gay haters supposedly reported my fan-fiction
group 'Rogues and Spies from the Underworld' to yahoo and had it destroyed
somehow. I cannot understand why Yahoo would delete my group, as it was
in the adult section and contained lesbein and gay erotica, nothing
abusive, and as far as I can see did not break any of Yahoo's TOS. There
disclaimers all over my group that it was understood that our material
was fiction-based, humor and politically diverse.

The people who had it destroyed were several christian anti-gay
crusaders who started abusing me and my fellow members because
of some of our members' sexual persuasion, and then told us they
were going to have our group hacked, and the next hour it was gone.
We have tried contacting Yahoo several times, but they have just
ignored us and seem to be siding with these bigots, which makes us
worry that it was an inside job as one of the gay haters named
Chuck DeZarn, who worked at a UNIX firm in Louisville, KY, has
bragged that he has several friends who work in yahoo, and that
he would use them to close our group down because he hates gays.

This all started when one of our members joined a star wars
discussion forum to ask a question about collecting figures and
happened to post the link in one of his posts to generate a friendly
yahoo group sharing environment our because it had several
star wars slash stories, three gay hating people from this list,
Chuck Dezern being one of them, decided to target us and became
very abusive and started sending very derogitory messages on and
off-list.

We are now contacting the ACLU, The Gay and Lesbein rights society,
the FTC, bigclassaction.com, UNIX, the postmasters of the individual
providers and also lawyers as we have lost several original stories
and fan-fiction which cannot be replaced and a YEAR'S worth of hard
work and many members' personal photo collections.

I would hope that Yahoo will reinstate my group, and take action
against the real criminals here, as the gay population have been
victimised long enough...
