We would like to respectfully request that you reconsider the recent decision that changed the course start time to 8:00 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday for IDES 452 section 002 students. Please change the course start times back to a later start time that meets the student needs stated under comments and start time requests for each of the undersigned. Thank you.

    • Comments- Why I need the time changed
    • 8:00 a.m. classes will create a financial hardship on me as a low income single parent commuting on winter roads from Ann Arbor. I would have to find a person to hire to come to my apartment and put my child on the bus since daycare centers are not open early enough to allow the commute time I need on winter roads. The childcare grant that I could get will NOT cover in home daycare, only licensed daycare. As a student who is economically disadvantaged enough, that I qualify for Pell grants, I can not afford to pay for in home day care 3 days a week. If classes start at 9 am or later my childcare will probably be covered by a childcare grant. I really need classes to start at 9 am or later. Thank you.

    • Comments- Why I need the time changed
    • I have already formed my class and work schedules around these times and would prefer not to have them change ANOTHER time. We have already had to change them once and we were never notified (either time) that the schedule has changed. We chose section 2 because it fit our schedules accordingly and now I'm missing out on classes that I would have like to take my Spring semester. Please change the schedule back to its original times. Thank you.
