Dear apple,

I feel the way you have entered into an agreement with one operator in Ireland for the sale of, and provision of services for, the iPhone is an injustice to your customers.

This monopoly you have created in Ireland has not given your customers a fair deal with tariffs, and means they are paying a higher price for services than they would if the networks were able to compete.

It has put a large number of potential customers off buying an iPhone, and has generated a large amount of negative publicity for both iPhone and Apple.

A large number of people have modified the software to unlock it themselves. As you know, this voids the warranty. It is a disgrace that you have forced your loyal customers to do this. Some people also had issues when they did this, leading to even more negative publicity for Apple and iPhone.

I urge you to start making the iPhone available on other networks, and preferably sim-free also, in order to give your loyal customers the fair deal we deserve, and restore Apple's good name.
