This is a petition that will be submitted to Congress to start the impeachment process for acting president, George Walker Bush. Due to severe complications of financial wrong doing by the president and his roles in Harken Energy, Enron, Arbusto Oil, Aloha, and Brown & Root, this person has proved more than once that he has betrayed the laws of United States and has violated the trust of the American People.

Since Harvey Pitt, director of the SEC and Bush appointee, will not release papers on Harken Energy to the public so that the American People can seek full disclosure about the president's wrong doings, We, as legal and law abiding citizens of the United States, are moving forward to start the process of impeachment against George Walker Bush.

Also, the president has abused his executive priveledges by appointing aides into key positions, for which most of those aides have clear conflicts of interest. He has introduced laws that would have given companies, including Enron, millions of dollars of taxpayer funds. Several companies involved with the president and vice-president are making millions off the 'war on terror'. He has also used pictures from 9/11 for personal and political gain, once again violating the public trust.

It is obvious that Bush has used his powers not to benefit the American People, but to enhance financial and corporate gain. The president has failed to address these issues and has illegally blocked public discourse, so given his stance, we are moving to have him removed from the Office of President of the United States. This petition does not detail his attempts to violate personal freedom and the US Constitution, but it is the opinion of the author that these issues need to be addressed as well.

    • Unfortunately, it seems that everyone and everything happening lately (i.e: falling stocks, declining personal income, loss of personal freedom, etc) stem from a direct involvement with a semi-educated, ill-informed, and mostly un-intelligent president. I personally don't like red, white and blue M&M's, nor do I believe that ANYONE in the current political climate even knows what patriotism IS! But, here's my voice, and here's my vote.

    • I miss the big dogshit! Impeach Bush, he's mean and won't let the world run roughshod over us. As a cowardly America hating liberal W just makes me so mad. How dare he inspire patriotism, Sep 11, hell we deserved it after all of the bad things we've done. We need love not war. I'll gladly stand in front of Saddam to protect him, he's my kind of leader next to the big dog-shit.

    • I dont really believe this could ever work but support it nonetheless. I am more interested in conceiving of means to ensure with some degree of certainty that dubya wont be reelected, which I think is the only reasonable hope we have right now. Thank you for your effort, alex ritchie.
