We believe the New South Wales government should prioritise the building of a state school and high school in the Rhodes area to accommodate an expected influx of 12,000 people - including more than 2000 expected students.
This should be announced as soon as possible and included in the 2011-12 state budget.

    • Not only are children and parents needs for more schools neglected in the equation. I am a casual primary school teacher effected by lack of work in this area thus causing me to travel and contribute to the general congestion in the Rhodes/Concord area.

    • Many people want to move in Rhodes but they just divert to Chatswood area. Rhodes needs public school urgently and without car, parents can not take kids to the school(Concord West Public Shool)

    • High density housing in Rhodes means more pressure on the schools in surrounding suburbs. Rhodes needs schools!!!!

    • Barry O'Farrell, make the building new school facilities a priority. These large developments are being approved without any consideration for infrastructure or facilities for our children.
