  • Not all pits are cruel, any dog can be made that way. So why label these that way, because they are strong and powerfull. Pits can be the best family dog if that's how you raise them.

  • Every canine breed are bred and born the same exact way, it's the individual owners and how they raise the dogs, that make what ANY animal turns out to be. ( it's the crackheads that fight these beautiful,strong and powerful dogs to support their sick drug habits, that gives the poor dogs the BAD name, it's NOT THE DOGS FAULT) Evidently these people have no clue of this?

  • I have known and owned "pit bulls", I have also known a wide varity of breeds, and mystry mutts.... I have determined this over the years, ANY dog regardless of breed or upbringing could be dangerous OR could be a wonderfull companion... To me you can ONLY make that descion based on the individual dog in front of you, that one dog has a personallity that may be wonderfull, it may be annoying or it may be dangerous, but like us every dog is unique! And though it is true that certain breeds are sometimes more prone to certiain behaviors, (terriers sometimes dig, bird dogs sometime kill chickens) to assume an indvidual dog WILL certainly behave a certain way based soley on it's breed, well that is dening that dog the right to be judged for it's own merits! I think every dog deserves this right, they deserve the same rights as us, to be innocent until proven guilty... People expect this ourselves, yet some people are awfully unwilling to extend this common courtisy to animals

  • I think its bull that people wanna sit there and say things about Pitbulls. When most of the people never had one. Until you own or get attacked by one then you can have a coment on Pitbulls. Beasuse ANY dog can attack its just not Pitbulls that do it. So nexts time you hear a Lab or a Golden Retriver Attacking someone go tell the world about it and talk crap on them. Leave the Pitbulls out of it. Its not there fault some of the bad owners wanna make there dog go and do things like that. Cause any dog owner can make there dog attack if they reallly want to. And one more thing im just one outta the meny Pitbull owner and just try to band the breed. Im not the only one that will stand up and put up a fight.

  • nyone who opens there mouth about somethin they have no clue as to the facts of those comments, only make themselves look foolish and ignorant. You people need to read up on the history of this lovely breed, that would probably protect you better than any human I know. This animal will literally die for it master. But, the animals actions also reflect the actions of its owner, this i would acount for.

  • You have the power to educate others but you also have the power to spread false and negative comments that can make a horrible impact for a population that is not at fault. Please use your voice in consideration of a population that can't speak up for themselves. Pits are not vicious animals, it is their owners that are not educated enough to realize that socialization is priority in any dog breed and responsible pet owners are aware of that.

  • All of the pitbulls I have met (and there have been MANY as I am a rescuer) have been so sweet and affectionate. Not the vicious beasts misinformed people make them out to be. I have met more vicious cocker spaniels and chuhuahuas than pit bulls. So breed specific predjudice is no better than being a racist. Spend some quality time with a pit bull and get back to me.
