Save John Lotter from The Electric Chair

Dec. 31st 1993. Around 3a.m. Two men by the names of Marvin Thomas Nissen And John Lotter. Both entered the home of Lisa Lambert. There was three other persons whom was in the home that night. One of witch was Teena Brandon. (Boys don't cry) (Whom I like to call Brandon.) The Other persons have disclosed names. I unfortunately cannot mention either one. One in witch is Lisas minor son. For The other individual. I have no legal permeation to mention his name. These two men both took equal part of the triple homicide; that took place that dreadful evening. How ever! Mr. Thomas Nissen made a plea barging. The plea barging stated that Mr. Nissen would not have to face the death plenty, and agree not to live in the same prison as one John Lotter. John Lotter whom awaits the death plenty. Mr. Lotter is now on death row. In the state of Nebraska when A PERSON is found guilty of murder. A human will be put to death by the way of the electric chair! This is an OUTRADGE! No state should still have the ELECTRIC CHAIR As a punishment! SOMETHING MUST BE DONE! We all know it is wrong to MURDER! But why is it okay to SENTANCE a man to DEATH? That to me is also MURDER! What does such an inhuman sentence as the ELECTIC CHAIR prove TO SOCIETY! Is this justice? NO!! This Petition was developed so we the people can change John Lotters sentence from the death plenty to LIFE IN PRISION! I feel as though He should have the same sentence as Mr. Nissen. If you think so too. Please sign this petition. Perhaps this could be the begging of the Ridden the Electric chair in the state of Nebraska for GOOD!

    • How un-educated are you? I can only hope that this petition is a facetious poke at the ignorance a person who believes John Lotter should not be executed would have. The spelling and grammer of this appeal are horrendous. If this is for real you should be incredibly embarrassed.

Please tell me this is a joke, there is no way that a person is as uneducated as this!!! I don't believe in the electric chair, but that is the only means of putting a person to death in the state of Nebraska, and this man deserves to be killed. If it were up to me, I would kill him the same way he killed Brandon and the other 2 kids. He should have dealt with his homophobia issues and left Brandon the hell alone to live his life how he pleased!!!!

    • I FEEL LOTTER SHOULD NOT GET THE DEATH PENALTY BECAUSE THE AUTHORITIES ARE GOIN BY WORD OF MOUTH FROM NISSEN WHEN IN ACTUALITY HE COULD HAVE COMMITTED MORE CRIME IF NOT ALL OF THE CRIME HE CLAIMS ONLY LOTTER DID. OBVIOUSLY NISSEN IS DOING ANYTHING TO SAVE HIS OWN LIFE. NO ONE KNOWS OR WILL EVER KNOW THE EXACT TRUTH ABOUT THE EVENTS OF THAT HORRIBLE NIGHT. THEREFORE I AGREE THAT BOTH MEN SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED THE SAME SENTANCE OF LIFE IN PRISON. THAT WAY THEY CAN LIVE WITH THE PAIN AND GUILT FOR THE REST OF THERE LIVES. THE VICTIMS FRIENDS AND FAMILIES HAVE TO, SO SHOULD THE MURDERERS.

Life in prison isn't all that bad, they get 3 meals a day, socialize with other inmates, TV, internet access, books, GED classes, and more. Fry him, and don't wet the sponge.

    • I'm sad to see the electric chair being abolished in so many states or the choice of lethal injection given over it. It's an exciting piece of history and is much more fun to see someone die by than by a little needle. The lights don't dim when someone get's lethally injected. No one can catch on fire on the gurney. The chair is full of excitement.

People argue that the death penalty is intened to be a deterent to crime however, with one of the highest murder rates in the world, it is obvious that it is wrong.
