As rumors run rampant about the security of Kentucky basketball coach Billy Gillespie's job, those with sound sense are aware that releasing a terrific coach only two years into rebuilding the winningest basketball program of all-time would be a ridiculous thing to do.
Those in favor of keeping Coach Gillespie around are also aware building a roster with talent does not happen overnight or even the span of a single season.
Those in favor of keeping Coach Gillespie also know that his coaching system requires his recruited players to fully flourish - most of which will dominate next season's roster.
Those in favor of keeping Coach Gillespie know how the majority of our fanbase is portrayed by those in the media and releasing a head coach after only two years will further fuel the media's ire against us.
