  • With the new structure of todays NHL,it would be a real shame to let the Pens flee to another small market city....The city and state gave the Pirates a new stadium and they have no chance of competing in the MLB as constituted...The Pens have a bright future and people will come....I hope something will be worked out....

  • im a flyers fan and i can't imagine a nhl w/o the pens- if the league wants to be credible how can it let a 2 cup winning team with one of the top 5 players of all time simply disappear from the books? someone has to step up

  • There WILL be a new arena here eventually anyway, don't sacrifice this franchise in the interim. Major attractions are bypassing Pittsburgh now because Mellon Arena is a dump. You can't even get hot water in the restrooms!!
