Dear Cartoon Network,
We are the adoring fans of the show Codename: Kids Next Door. In the fateful month of January 2008, our beloved show ended with Operation I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S. While most of our questions were answered, and some of the pairings we begged for came to be, there is still a whole other side that is left unexplored. What happened to Numbuh One during his days in GKND? What was life like for Sector V after Numbuh One's tearful departure? What of The Delightful Children From Down The Lane, Numbuh 274, Father, and all the other characters of the show? Did Mushi Sanban ever join the KND? How about Tommy Gilligan or Joey Beatles?
With this petition, we ask for the return of our show to the CN programming. None of you workers at CN would believe the following that this show has, even in it's afterlife! There are videos, fanfictions, and even a forum dedicated to this show. It's become an international representation of youth and friendship, and the hard times that we encounter as kids, teens, and adults. To some people it may be JUST a cartoon, but for some of us, it's more than that. There are so many kids like myself, that grew up on this show and still live it's glories everyday. There are teenagers that loved it, and even adults that were in college that watched it. I'm sure Mr. Warburton himself even watched it with his kids!
It is upsetting to see that such a great show that lasted six seasons, must take a backseat to mindless chatter like My Gym Partners A Monkey, Camp Lazlo, Squirrel Boy, Johnny Test, George of The Jungle, and Total Drama Island. These shows lack plots, storylines, and any depth to even be considered shows! They're just fart and poop jokes every 5 minutes, or a crack about a monkey's butt! That's not funny; it's just lame!
Codename: Kids Next Door is a show that speaks to everyone, not just an audience of kids. For some of us, this show was something we could call our own. We could relate to the characters better than any other characters on any other show. Maybe some of us are sunglasses wearing leaders, Japanese plushie lovers, bra wearing teens, or even adult loyalists. This show allowed kids to be proud that they were kids! Kids could now show the world that they weren't just 'snot-nosed brats', but engineers and pioneers of a new life for future kids. It doesn't matter that the show is now longer on the air, because it still lives on. Everyday, a new operative is born. Everyday, we loyal fans awaken and thrive and bask in the glory of what it is to be a member of the KND. We also have our own kids to think about; our futures. I know for a fact, that I couldn't be happier if my kids became KND operatives when they are old enough to handle the duty.
The point that myself, and every other operative is trying to make is that we'd like to see the return of Codename: Kids Next Door. We are the loving and loyal fans, and we are not ashamed. Kids Next Door, Forever.

- BRING BACK OUR CHILDHOOD! KIDS NEXT DOOR 4EVUH! this show should air for at least another eleventy buhmillion years. Please! i don't know what to do with my life since knd has left. Sector V fills my dreams and I wake up crying because there gone. It's such a great show. The jokes are so clever, and the plot is the best I've ever seen! bring it back..... or else. KIDS NEXT DOOR!
