Members of Congress fail to work together for the "Greater Good" in order to vote on a Single Payer option healthcare system for millions of Americans who otherwise do not have coverage of their own while you, members of your immediate family, and many Congressional staffers enjoy the luxury of a pooled healthcare resource paid for by the American people (taxpayers).

It is apparent that Single Payer is the most favored option unanimously across the country. It is also the least favorite of Congress, however we voted you in to secure our rights at the table; NOT YOUR OWN.

Until you come together to create a successful healthcare coverage model for all Americans (low-cost, free of pre-existing limitations), your healthcare coverage should cease. No payout, no claims processed, paid or adjudicated on the taxpayers dime. This moratorium should be placed into effect immediately upon securing the necessary signatures of support from the American people. It can only be lifted when the public, "we the people" (in case you forgot) that elected you to your post, receive equal healthcare and equal access to care under the laws governing the United States of America.

You should know personally and understand the plights of many Americans who desire to have a Single Payer option.

Shame on those of you who initially for Single Payer options and then turn around and changed your minds. Give every citizen the ability to carry affordable, effective health care coverage based on their level of household income (sliding scale), regardless of pre-existing conditions.

We, the undersigned, demand that you allow your constituents to vote on whether nor not you deserve healthcare. Maybe then you will put your constituents needs in front of your own, lobbyists, special interests firms and big business.

Sincerely,

    • Until we ordinary Americans get health coverage and health care we can afford, those of you who have the desirable health coverage should support our request for you to drop your insurance until ALL of your constituents have health insurance just as good as yours is. Until then, you don't even deserve your health insurance.

    • There is no reason why each American cannot be afforded the very same health care those in Congress enjoy, that we the taxpayers foot the bill for.
