When we, the undersigned, found out that both Lucasarts was working with Telltale Games on a Monkey Island project, we were stunned. We never thought those two companies would ever work together on anything, but now it has finally happened!
So, because of this, we ask that both companies solidify their new alliance and bring "Sam and Max: Freelance Police", a game that has been in development limbo for at least five years, back from the dead.
We feel that that game is long overdue. Since none of the scenarios and characters created for that game were in the episodic series, we felt something was missing, and we hope that resuming production of that game will fill that emptiness. We also feel that resurrecting that game would allow Bill Farmer and Nick Jameson (the voices of Sam and Max in that game) to be finally vindicated after four years of not being allowed to voice their characters in the recent Sam and Max episodic series, since we believe the current voices did not do the series justice.
If you want to, you can also work on a "Special Edition" remake of Sam and Max Hit The Road like you did with Secret of Monkey Island. Bill Farmer and Nick Jameson voiced Sam and Max in that game as well, and this game (along with Freelance Police) were the only two products in which they voiced those characters. People who have never heard those voices before will hopefully hear them soon with your cooperation.
We hope the new partnership lasts long enough to allow this wish to finally come true. May the Sam and Max games of the past finally be played in the present, and possibly the future!
