  • It is stupid to fire the author of such a popular book series for any reason but especially for what she decides to do with HER characters' relationships. LJ smith is an amazing author and it completely unfair for this to be done to her. Not only will I not purchase any more of the ghostwritten VD book I can also garentee that I will never be purchasing another book from Haper Teen or Alloy Entertainment if this is how they treat their authors. I will also be telling this story to any person I know hoping to get published off of Haper Teens Inkpop site. Publishers such as this should be ashamed of themselves for STEALING the hard work of authors like L.J Smith regardless of the peperwork that gives them the so called right to do so!

  • I have all ready noticed a drastic change in the books sense the gohst writter has taken L.J. Smith's spot. I also find it to be a slap in the face to even consider letting/allowing the gohst writter to write the rest of The Vampire Diaries like the tv series. They're are too many significant differences between the amazing books and the semi mediocre "hit" tv series. Sure she's writting alot of books at the time, with the high chance of having a writter's block, BUT a writter's block sooner or later gets the creative writting juices flowing. As the old saying goes, why try to fix something if it isn't broken?
