For the last ten years, Lauren Koslow has graced our screens as the fiery "Kate Roberts" on DAYS OF OUR LIVES. She's the character fans love or at the very least love to hate. There are those of us who want to see her become a better person, to find the love she's longed for her entire life. There are also those who'd like to see her roast for all the havoc she's wreaked in Salem. Regardless of how we feel about Kate Roberts, the bottom line is that she makes us feel something! We connect with her and with the actress who has played her for the last decade. Lauren Koslow is a truly gifted actress, and she deserves better than to be fired weeks after signing a new contract. Lauren deserves better and we, the fans, deserve better. Please don't do this! Save Lauren Koslow. Save Kate Roberts. Save our show!

- I think it is a shame you are getting rid of characters that are the backbone of the show. As the writers you should be fixing the plots not changing the characters.

- I have watched Days since I can remember first watching TV. I have seen a lot of the "major" stars come and go. I know that some people would like more interest focused on the young actors but we middle aged, devoted viewers would like to see the characters we have known over the years to stay. I have heard that Bo will be the next on the chopping block. This is getting to be unbelievable and I'm afraid the end of Days is in sight if someone doesn't wake up soon. At least you brought John back...........
