For the last ten years, Lauren Koslow has graced our screens as the fiery "Kate Roberts" on DAYS OF OUR LIVES. She's the character fans love or at the very least love to hate. There are those of us who want to see her become a better person, to find the love she's longed for her entire life. There are also those who'd like to see her roast for all the havoc she's wreaked in Salem. Regardless of how we feel about Kate Roberts, the bottom line is that she makes us feel something! We connect with her and with the actress who has played her for the last decade. Lauren Koslow is a truly gifted actress, and she deserves better than to be fired weeks after signing a new contract. Lauren deserves better and we, the fans, deserve better. Please don't do this! Save Lauren Koslow. Save Kate Roberts. Save our show!

- This is by far the WORST of all the recent firings. I cannot f@#!^6 believe they would fire Lauren Koslow. We can be completely sure now that there will be no more Days come 2009. I am completely mortified.

- What the hell is going on with this Soap? You keep getting rid of the best characters and bringing in these characters that do nothing for this show. Lauren plays the best character you love to hate. First Billie and now Kate. You'll need to rethink this seriously!!!!!

- I love Lauren Koslow portraying Kate Roberts. It would be a big mistake to get rid of her. Days is firing all the good actors and the show will definitely be going downhill. I have watched the show for over 40 years and I don't want it to end.
