I/We, the undersigned, request Discovery Communications INC, and all its subsidiaries (i.e. Discovery Channel, the Learning Channel, etc.) to present the series Warrior Women, hosted by famous Lucy Lawless. This series has already premiered in Canada, Italy, Britain, and the U.K., but has never broadcasted in the United States. We ask the Discovery Channel to provide the people in TV land, (not to mention, the huge array of Xena: Warrior Princess fans), the chance to learn more about women warriors & leaders from our world's history. Because Lucy Lawless has gained such recognition from her syndicated TV show, Xena Warrior Princess, more people around the world are interested in learning about these, and other different women from history. These women have achieved greatness in their very short lives, and we feel it is our duty to let other people know of their full potential. This show would be of interest to all people, of all ages, and of all religions. Discovery Channel would be doing the United States an incalculable display of goodwill by showing that man was not the only major figure in history.
We implore your help, Discovery Communications. Please fulfill this obligation to the people of America.

- This is a very educational look at women in history that most people don't know about. I for one was looking forward to seeing it. Discovery Comm. you really need to include this in your programing for the U.S.A.

- As a teacher of ancient history it is always a challenge to find materials about women in history. I would be pleased to see this and use it in my classroom as a way to not only engage but excite my students. With so few women's stories being told this would be wonderful for my young women to see. Please release it in the US.

- Yes, we have all been anxiously waiting to see this series. Waiting as patiently as we can, now we have to try to wave some flags and get some attention. We want to see the Warrior Women series, here in the United States. Battle On!

- Just because there is a "his" in history, doesn't mean it's all about men. These warrior women were extraordinary individuals who deserve the credit due to them. Also, Lucy Lawless is the perfect host for this program as her character of Xena was the first true role model for young girls and women to look up to in an age of male dominated heroes.

- Hey.. I think everyone deserves it to see this wonderful serie (Warrior Women).. I have seen it already in the Netherlands and it is an amazing and interessting show filled with humor and facts.. Everyone should be able to see it including all my friends for the States
