We the undersigned ask Acme, a Midwest supermarket chain, and all stores, agencies, corporations
to stop selling living lobsters. To drop a lobster alive into
boiling water has been called by Harvard Crimson editor, Parade
editor, and founder of Fund For Animals Cleveland Amory 1 of
the 3 methods of slaughter most cruel. The others he named were
the forced feeing of geese for pate and the confining of baby calves
in crates after being electroshocked away from their mothers for
veal production. However he is in Spirit now and is still working
to prevent new atrocities, such as Iowa Beef Processors (of South
Dakota) whose Pasca Washington plant has been skinning animals alive.
Tysons and Buckeye and Perdue and DeCosta of Arkansas, Ohio, Maryland,
and Maine, whose chickens have died in the millions of heat suffocation,
smashing, freezing, hunger, thirst, Smithfield which dominates
North Carolina politicians as it enslaves 10 million pigs in tiny

The name of G-d must be invoked when killing and preparing and eating the food. Furthermore, animals cannot endure enormous pain and suffering when being killed or prepared for consumption.
