Louis Restaurant has been in our family since 1937 and it needs some attentionit hasnt gotten a make-over since 1975 and the Hontalas family wants to spruce things up. To make it worthwhile for our family to make improvements, weve asked our landlord the federal governmentfor a long term lease. The National Park Service requires all long lease terms to be part of a competitive bidding process. This is where you come in! We want to show our landlord just how much a San Francisco tradition should be allowed to remain.
If you believe that the restaurant just wouldnt be the same without the Hontalas family-- add your information below to show your support!
And please know that we appreciate all your efforts on our behalf!

- Louis' has outlived Playland, Sutro Baths, Fleishacker Pool and more. The reason this restaurant is still here is because the Hontalas family IS Louis'. The restaurant isn't a building, it is a family. Please keep it in the Hontalas Family.

- Louis Restaurant without the Hontalas family is unthinkable. To lose this landmark would be a great loss to the city itself.
