Linkin Park Needs to Return to Nu Metal

Linkin Park has always been a unique and original rock band until the release of Minutes to Midnight. Linkin Park's former nu metal sound brought together the best of hip hop and the best of rock. This unique sound united hip hop and rock listeners around the globe. A radio friendly adaptation of nu metal is what made Linkin Park famous in the first place. However, Linkin Park decided to betray their loyal fans, who made them millionaires, by changing their sound into a mixture of alternative rock and pop. There are already 800 alternative rock and pop bands out there and we don't need any more. Linkin Park has lost their uniqueness. Any band can easily perform a Linkin Park cover from Minutes to Midnight. If you are tired of all the unoriginal, bland music, Linkin Park has made in Minutes to Midnight, and would like to see Linkin Park return to their signature nu metal sound, then please sign this petition.

    • damn linkin park.. i've been a hardcore fan ever since the xero days but u just went downhill. i used to defend you guys when ppl would talk crap about ur material but only because it was worth it. at this point with minutes to midnight they can bash u guys and this is the first time in my life i'm like "ermm yeh". i dont know i thought u guysa would be that band thta would be my life favorite and hold that place. at this point u guys are just not linkin park anymore. might as well change the name of the band and dont continue disgracing what u guys used to stand for.
