We, the undersigned, are outraged by BMW's decision to cancel the M3 V8 CSL project.
BMW have decided to focus on building X5M and X6M and to put the famous M3 CSL to rest. Apparently the world doesn't need another sportscar.
BMW has through many years succeeded in building a fantastic sporty image and have many epic cars, each contributing to this image through the years, but now BMW have decided to go green. Building environmentally friendly and fuel efficient cars is now the only priority.
Nothing wrong with that but don't forget your sporty heritage and why you have so many fans and enthusiasts around the world.
We request that BMW immediately reconsider this drastic move and to bring back the M3 CSL we all know and love. Do not cancel the project, fulfill our hopes and dreams.
Give us a car that both young people, adults and enthusiasts can dream about and hopefully own one day.

- Not building the M3 CSL but producing M versions of X models is equal to killing the M Division and the enthusiasts, the true customers of BMW. And all because of the biggest cancer of automotive industry, marketing! BMW, you just don't care of your true customers, you don't care of your own M Divison's philosophy which made them so great, you don't care about your employes, your engeniers, the true masters of BMW cars and responsables for all the money that the board managemenet and marketing department are sleeping on. M3 CSL must exist, don't destroy the M Division with X models!

- Get your priorities right, dont water down the M brand with SUV`s when what it really needs is getting back in touch with the raw and simple basics of driving pleasure that made it so brilliant in the first place. The return of the CSL was a brilliant star in the sky and now you are just going to snuff it out of existance for some porkly SUV`s when it infact ought to be the guiding light for the entire M range? I must hereby protest to such a mindset and derailing of the M brand core values.

- Drove a CSL on a number of ocasions and recently a X6 (adaptive drive + DPC). The CSL is by far and away the "Ultimate Driving Machine". I don't care whether a 2 tonne SUV can corner just as good. It (M X5/X6) will never compare to a proper sports car and if it does humble pie will be ate!!!
